Use the Toiee Drain Plug to conveniently block the building’s sewer pipe with a balloon to prevent back-flow of sewage.
The Toiee Drain Plug is a complete product with a pump, hose and balloon.
It is available in 4 different sizes for sewer pipes of 32 mm, 40/50 mm, 75 mm and 110 mm.
110 mm can also be used to block the toilet's U-bend.
A Toiee Drain Plug can be used to conveniently and inexpensively protect your home against back-flow of sewage in the event of torrential rain.
Toiee Drain Plugs have been tested by the Danish Technological Institute to a pressure of 3 mH2O (pressure equivalent to a 3 metre water column).
Install the Toiee Drain Plug in the sewer pipe or the toilet's U-bend before a cloudburst and remove it again when the cloudburst has passed.
The Toiee Drain Plug is equipped with a pilot balloon on the tube. The pilot balloon is a mirror of the large balloon and the logic is that if there is air in the pilot balloon, then there is also air in the balloon that is hidden from view in the sewer pipe. This means that during a cloudburst, you can be sure that the balloon has not deflated.
